Some people visit Pattaya and go home thinking that the nightlife is all that Pattaya has to offer. Those people are very wrong. There are all kinds of daytime tourist activities ranging from the adventurous to facinating to frightening.

Thai culture is very different from the west, and immersing yourself in it can be rewarding and illuminating. The Thai people are very friendly and more than willing to explain what makes them tick.

Some of the attractions are outside the normal tourist range but you can easily hire a Baht Bus to take you where you want to go and it won't cost you much. These are also the places to take all those photos, so you can show everyone back home that you really did come to Pattaya to soak up the local culture.
