I was very pleased with the rooms at President Park, large and relatively luxurious. The free internet worked very well. The breakfast is a little better than average. There is a supermarket nearby The only downside for me is the distance from sukhumvit (about 15 minute walk). They do offer a free tuk tuk service on the hour. Overall, it was a great value and I'd stay there again.
UPDATE: After staying here again I am forced to lower my rating. There is construction on Soi 24 and massive traffic, making it very challenging to get back to Sukhumvit. It's not worth the hassle. Looking at the positive side, I had some thrill rides on motorbikes for only 20 Baht (much cheaper than any amusement park ride).
